Peer Programs
Right to KNOW
Right to KNOW peers raise awareness throughout the UCI community about the widespread occurrence of sexual assault and promote activities and attitudes that contribute to the elimination of sexual violence.
Right to KNOW peer educators present educational programming throughout the campus. This includes workshops and large outreach projects such as Take Back the Night, The Clothesline Project and Denim Day. Right to KNOW members also serve a fundamental role in educating incoming students about safety issues and serve as CARE Companions to survivors of sexual assault, providing information through the difficult process of identifying and accessing resources.

One in Four
One in Four is an organization of men dedicated to addressing the problem of rape and sexual assault on our campus. This name reflects the unfortunate statistic that one in four women will be the victim of rape or attempted rape in their lifetime. One in Four is founded on the belief that men play a necessary role in stopping sexual assault. The goal of this organization is to educate and empower men through awareness and prevention programming. One in Four maintains an active campus presence by taking part in campus-wide events like the White Ribbon Campaign and Take Back the Night.
